The Story so far ..

We started in 2020 with a simple idea: finding value in surplus fruits from Northeast India. Along the way, we uncovered hidden treasures like black cardamom and high-curcumin turmeric in Arunachal Pradesh.

By organising tribal women farmers into clusters and connecting them to markets, we created a model that caught media attention and earned recognition from Arunachal Pradesh Government in 2021. Building on this, we expanded to millet cultivation, partnering with 500+ farmers to spark a millet movement in the region.

In mid-2024, severe storms and landslides disrupted many of our agri initiatives. This challenge inspired a new direction: creating sustainable homeware using driftwood and fallen timber from the region. By incorporating Teak Wood—renowned for its durability, water resistance, and timeless beauty—we crafted eco-friendly products that are built to last. This collection, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design, has received love from across the country.

Despite the hurdles, our focus remains clear: empowering communities, promoting sustainability and bringing you something to fall in love with!

The NE Farmer Network

Connecting the dots of sustainable agriculture.

In Northeast India, millet farming faces challenges due to difficult terrain and climate.

To address this, farmers are grouped into organisations like FPCs, FPOs, or SHGs, fostering mutual support and resource access. We also collaborate with local departments to provide seeds, training, and equipment.

This comprehensive support system not only boosts their production but also contributes to the sustainability of agriculture in the region.
